One of the first steps in becoming a more mindful parent is simply becoming aware of your choices. Today I want to shed light on a more mindful approach to a daily occurrence: the diaper change.  But first, I need you to play a little game with me:

We've all got opinions, values and views.    To respectfully hear another person's opinion is, I would argue, a necessary life skill.   It requires keeping an open mind, critical thinking,  and empathy. 

It's not easy, trust me.  But it is teachable.
